Unlimited Potential for Growth.
Raifort. In French it means horseradish. In Madison County, Illinois, it's a name with a history - and synonymous with business opportunity.
Raifort Commerce Park, owned and managed by Raifort Properties is a premier business development that is located on what was once a large horseradish farm - land still owned by the Willaredt family.
In 1866, the Willaredts made their way from Europe to the French community of St. Louis and took up farming on Chouteau Island. From the beginning, horseradish was one of the family's principal crops. Around 1960, the family moved to near the Village of Roxana and expanded their farming operation. Willaredt Farm soon gained a reputation as one of the largest horseradish producing enterprises in an area internationally known as "The Horseradish Capital of the World."
